How Does it Work?

In order for an orally administered medicine to deliver active ingredients to the extent where they can cause joint repair, it must first contend with inflammation, intestinal toxins, and pre-existing gastrointestinal conditions. All of these factors can inhibit absorption and restrict the flow of healing nutrients to the place where they are needed most, the joints.

Concentrated Formula J2 ensures maximum absorption of active ingredients by treating the digestion first with therapeutic doses of Licorice and Yucca. Licorice works immediately on the gastrointestinal tract to remove barriers to absorption by balancing acidity and making the stomach more permeable to nutrients. Yucca then acts to block the action of toxins released in the intestines that inhibit the normal formation of cartilage. As the digestive system begins to improve in its functions, greater amounts of nutrients and active ingredients can be delivered for maximum utilization.

Pain Relief

An extra strength dose of White Willow Bark is used to make your horse more comfortable during the healing process. White Willow Bark is a safe and natural form of aspirin. Although other ingredients in Concentrated Formula J2 assist in relieving pain, White Willow Bark functions as the primary pain reliever in Concentrated Formula J2.

As symptoms of pain begin to subside, normal movement becomes easier for your horse. This movement helps to accelerate healing and recovery by increasing the flow of nutrients and active ingredients to effected areas.

Inflammation Reduction

Swelling and Inflammation act as the final barrier to delivering maximum strength doses of Glucosamine Sulfate and Vitamin C, the two ingredients proven in clinical studies to reduce inflammation and build new cartilage. Swelling and Inflammation constrict blood flow and limit the amount of healing agents that reach injured areas.

Glucosamine Sulfate, Vitamin C, Yucca, Devil's Claw, White Willow Bark, and Licorice all have Anti-Inflammatory properties and are delivered in substantial amounts to quickly reduce inflammation and swelling.

Tissue Repair

The goal of Concentrated Formula J2 is to repair cartilage and rebuild the joint structure. By achieving this we can reverse the effects of injuries and degenerative diseases and begin to restore our horses to health. Glucosamine Sulfate is the only substance that has been clinically proven under electron microscope studies and X-Ray examinations to grow new cartilage and new connective tissue. By removing the biological barriers to the delivery of Glucosamine Sulfate and Vitamin C, we enable your horse to take full advantage of these nutrients.

We include 9,000 mg of pure Glucosamine Sulfate in every ounce of Concentrated Formula J2 to ensure that your horse can draw on the necessary resources to rebuild cartilage and connective tissue. To promote further healing, we include 6000 mg of Vitamin C per ounce for its role in cartilage synthesis and connective tissue formation. This potent and powerful combination creates faster recovery and improved joint function for your horse.

Protection and Prevention

Once a horse goes sound we want them to stay sound and experience continual improvements in mobility. In order to achieve this, we must protect joints during the healing process and guard against future injuries.

By delivering a heavy dose of Ginseng during the final phase of the mechanism of healing, we cause a series of metabolic reactions that reduce the physiological effects of stress and trauma on your horse. This enables key healing processes like digestion to function at optimal levels during periods of stress. This helps to protect joints from being re-injured while in recovery and after repair.

This same set of reactions also increases the stamina of your horse. This has been of particular interest to competitive riders. By reducing the physiological effects of stress on your horse, they become more willing and able to perform for longer periods of time at increased levels of exercise with lower levels of fatigue and reduced risk of injury.
